We miss you!

A message to Jose: It was only yesterday, but yesterday is gone! Today is real and the memories live on. On Christmas day you went into the hospital and so I thought they would heal you a bit and you would return home as usual. But on that day, there would be no more healing. I received shocking news that you had a few days to live. And so for the short time that remained you promised to stay and sing to me on my birthday. On December 28th, you kept your promise and you sang to me. Your brother Nestor witnessed this joyous moment. I will never forget that moment. On December 29th, you did not utter any more words. On December 30th, you quietly departed from this world. I miss your voice, our chats, you calling my name, and the great conversations you had with all your boys. You will always live eternally in the hearts of those that loved you and there were many. But as I have witnessed you will live forever in the hearts of your boys, my sisters and mom who loved you dearly. Be at peace my love. I will always love you!
